New to CBD? Start Here.

We want to make CBD a lot less confusing.

So today, let’s answer one of the biggest questions:

How does CBD actually work?

Here’s the simple version.

Your body already has a built-in system called the endocannabinoid system, or ECS.

Don’t worry — you don’t need to remember the name.

What matters is what it does.

The ECS is involved in helping regulate a variety of normal functions in the body, including things like mood, sleep, appetite, stress response, inflammation and more.

Think of it like one of your body’s internal balancing systems.

Your body naturally makes compounds called endocannabinoids that interact with this system.

CBD is a plant-based cannabinoid.

When you take CBD, it doesn’t simply “flip a switch.”

CBD works with systems your body already has.

That’s part of the reason people include it in routines built around rest, recovery, relaxation, and everyday wellness.

So where do you start?

If you’ve never considered CBD, this is where it can feel intimidating.

You see different strengths, different numbers, and different formulas — and suddenly something simple feels complicated again.

That’s why we created ANCHOR.

ANCHOR is our lowest-strength Full Spectrum CBD formula and an approachable place to begin if you’re new to CBD or simply prefer a lower concentration.

For many people, beginning with a lower amount can make it easier to learn how CBD fits into their routine and how their body responds.

Think of it this way:

Start simple. Pay attention. Adjust from there.

If, over time, you decide you want a more concentrated option, you can always move up in strength.

There’s no prize for starting strong.

The goal is to find the amount and routine that make sense for you.

That’s also why we don’t believe in making huge promises about CBD.

Your body is different from someone else’s.

Your routine is different.

Your goals are different.

And your experience with CBD may be different too.

What we can do is give you good information, make thoughtfully formulated products, and help you feel more confident about where to begin.

In other blog posts, we’ll keep breaking this down one piece at a time—including how to choose the right strength, when to take CBD, what Full Spectrum means, and what you should realistically expect.

No hype.

No chemistry degree required.

Just CBD explained simply.

Live your Anthem.
